The Legacy Building Business Intensive Workshop is where that is designed on purpose — and where 10% of our revenue goes to work through DNA BLI.

Advancing Black lives through leadership
BLI exists for a simple, stubborn belief: talent is everywhere, opportunity is not. The Institute prepares Black leaders and entrepreneurs of every generation for the boardroom, the C-suite and ownership — with real training, real mentors and real placement. Ten percent of our revenue funds this work.
A 501(c)(3) non-profit
The Black Leadership Institute is a registered non-profit built to advance Black lives through leadership — creating boardroom equity and capable Black CEO representation across every generation.
8-week CEO & entrepreneurship programs
Accredited, flexible remote programs with live class sessions, roughly 5–7 hours of study a week, and a recognized leadership certificate on completion.
1-on-1 mentorship
Students are matched with established business leaders for ongoing mentorship — the kind of guidance that changes what a young person believes is possible.
Scholarships & career placement
Scholarships open the door, and career placement services and a growing network of recruiters and change-makers keep it open after graduation.
Corporate partner program
Organizations partner with BLI to develop diverse leadership pipelines, with tax-advantaged giving through the non-profit.
Yearly golf tournament
Four hours on the green. A year of mentorship after it.
Our annual tournament brings seasoned leaders and young adults onto the same fairway — not for the trophy, but for the conversation. Walking side by side, questions get asked that would never be asked across a desk.

One day on the course
Mentors and young adults are paired for a full round — four unhurried hours to talk about business, money, faith, failure and what comes next.

Then once a month
The pairing continues with monthly mentoring, so wisdom is transferred in a relationship, not a single afternoon.

Everyone is welcome
Play, sponsor a young adult, or volunteer as a mentor. No golf handicap required — only a willingness to pour into someone.
